Rami · Founder and English communication coach

A conversation worth having. A way to keep going.

I built Hermit around a moment that matters in English lessons: you have something to say, but getting it into words takes more effort than you expected. I want the practice to start with what you mean, and help you keep going when the words are difficult to find.

What a session with me is like

Bring something you want to talk about. It might be a meeting you have coming up, an interview question, or a subject you enjoy. We use that conversation to find out what needs attention.

You might want a clearer way to explain an idea, help with a sound, or a phrase that lets you continue after a pause. We work on vocabulary and grammar through the things you are trying to say.

Something useful to take into the next conversation

Speaking gives us examples to work with. We look at what happened, choose a pattern, and practise it again. For example, if you lose your thread, you can try “Let me put that another way,” pause, then finish one point.

Your Personal Session Report gives you examples from your speech to return to. AI helps identify language patterns; in teacher-led sessions, I review the feedback and choose what is useful for you. Focused exercises and AI speaking practice give you a way to rehearse between sessions.

Making room to think while you speak

Pressure and checking every sentence can pull your attention away from a conversation. We pay attention to those habits alongside vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and how you organise an answer. That is what psychology-informed practice means at Hermit.

Hermit provides education and communication coaching. It does not provide diagnosis or mental health treatment. A report is feedback on a speaking sample, not a judgment of your intelligence or personality.

My teaching background

My background is in teaching English conversation. My Preply profile lists a verified Preply Language Teaching Certificate from 2025 and, as of 6 September 2026, 6,769 lessons taught with a 4.6 rating from 52 reviews. These describe my teaching on that platform, not learner outcomes at Hermit.

In a Preply review dated 21 June 2026, Pietro highlighted “finding the topic that interests you the most.” The reviews include scheduling and communication feedback too. This is an individual account of teaching, not evidence of a guaranteed result.

For teachers and schools

Hermit also gives teachers a way to review recorded speech, curate feedback and set focused practice. The teacher decides what deserves attention. A sample report lets you inspect that work before discussing whether it fits your school.
